Privacy Policy

Equiprio is operated by Kamboeng Consulting LTD., Ontario, which is responsible for your personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Contact our privacy officer at info@equiprio.com.

• Account: name, email, phone (optional), password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Organization: organization name, legal name, HST number, members and their roles.
• Waitlist: email, whether you plan events or supply equipment, organization name (optional), and a record of your consent.
• Agreements: which version of our terms you accepted, when, and from which IP address and browser.
• Security: a one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting, and essential sign-in cookies.
• When booking opens: events, addresses, bookings, messages, photos of deliveries and pickups, and payment records. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store full card numbers.

• To run your account and your organization's workspace.
• To arrange bookings, create rental contracts, process payments and resolve disputes.
• To send service emails (confirmations, bookings, deadlines). These are part of the service.
• To send launch and product updates only if you agreed, for example by joining the waitlist. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and we honour requests within 10 business days.
• To keep Equiprio secure and prevent fraud and abuse.

We share personal information only as needed to provide Equiprio:

• The other party to a booking: suppliers see the organizer's organization, contact and delivery details for their bookings; organizers see the supplier's business details.
• Supabase (database and authentication), hosted in Canada (Montréal region).
• Vercel (website hosting), which may process requests in the United States.
• Resend (email delivery), which processes email in the United States.
• Stripe (payments), when booking opens.

Information processed outside Canada is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities. We do not sell personal information.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

• Account information: while your account is open, then deleted or anonymized within 90 days of closing, except as below.
• Contracts, bookings, payments and tax records: 7 years, as required for business and tax records in Canada.
• Waitlist entries: until launch plus 12 months, or until you unsubscribe, whichever is first. We keep a minimal record of an unsubscribe so we don't email you again.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to optional uses, by emailing info@equiprio.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Access to data is restricted by role and enforced in the database. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and invitation and email links are single-use. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as PIPEDA requires.

We will post changes here with a new version date and tell you about material changes before they take effect.
